Por fin NAHJ Central Florida

12:12 PM

Saturday afternoon, I attended the National Association Hispanic Journalists relaunch party. It was a complete success! I had the opportunity to chat with some old friends as I sipped on some red wine,  as well as meet other professionals here in Central Florida. It was amazing to learn about all of the wonderful things our current Chapter president, Sarycarmen Rivera, Channel 13 News Reporter and Anchor, has in store for us.

For those that have no idea what NAHJ is, it's an organization that is dedicated to Hispanic journalists or aspiring journalists in the United States. It's a great organization to be a part of being that it offers so many wonderful opportunities such as jobs, internships, interactive workshops, conventions, and so much more. It doesn't matter where you reside,  we have Chapters everywhere. So, if you're an aspiring journalist, I highly encourage you to become a member of NAHJ, you won't regret it. For more information visit nahj.org , you can also find us on facebook and twitter.

  1. I Totally agree with you, NAHJ is a great organization to be part of.
I've always thought that we should help each other, no matter what newspaper, magazine, TV or radio station we work for. If we can give each other positive feedbacks, we can improve our performance. We are always in a learning process. We can always use a helping hand.
