Diego Duran... A true inspiration

Hello all. Last Friday, I had the pleasure of interviewing a young man named Diego Duran. Last year while he celebrated New Years eve with his family he was struck in the head by a stray bullet while watching fireworks. He had to undergo five surgeries and several procedures. Today, this 13 year old boy is getting better by the day, yet still suffering from some short term memory loss which doctors say will improve eventually.
We spoke about his health, how his life changed after the incident, and his message to those that practice celebratory gun-fire which he is able to communicate through a campaign called Bullet Free Sky http://bulletfreesky.com/photos.html

Saludos a todos. El viernes pasado, tuve el placer de compartir con un joven llamado Diego Duran. El ano pasado mientras celebraba el día de ano nuevo con su familia fue impactado por una bala perdida en la cabeza mientras miraba los fuegos artificiales. Tuvo que someterse a cinco cirugías y varios procedimientos y hoy, la salud de este jovencito de 13 anos de edad va mejorando cada dia. Sin embargo, todavía sufre de perdida de la memoria de corto plazo, una situación que doctores aseguran mejorará con el tiempo. A continuación mi entrevista con él.
