So much for that rumor!

Although a lot of noise was made a little while back that Cameron Diaz and New York Yankee / playboy Alex Rodriguez had split, sources say that the couple attended an MTV Movie Awards afterparty last night at L.A.'s SoHo House and the only time they "split" was to breathe.

Sources say that the couple entered the party hand-in-hand and were "very affectionate"  including, but not limited to, holding hands and kissing throughout the night.

Now if that is not a split, I do not know what is!
