Paula Abdul has chosen to quit American Idol. Why? Well apparently she demanded a substantial raise and quit when she couldn't get.

Supposedly, the 47-year-old asked for about $20 million to continue with the show, but was only being offered $10 million.

This was on Paula Abdul's twitter page update: "With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to Idol. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all I’ll miss being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon."

Paula, you could have still been part of this international phenomenon, if you hadn't asked for soooooo much money. 10 million doesn't sound that bad after all.
